This is a great phone. It uses the Windows push technology and has mini versions of Word, Excel and Powerpoint which comes in handy. As it is Windows based it makes it very easy to sync as it speaks the same language as your PC applications.
The camera is ok but not too good in darker situations, it could do with a light/ flash.
I got mine the first week it came out and more than a year and a half later I often get comments about how cool it seems.
It is heavier than most mobiles but it is a mini PDA within a phone. It is pretty robust and easily updatable with better programs from XDA forum etc.
It is made by HTC who are now known by that with their newer handsets with Orange i.e the HTC Diamond but with I think O2 and tmobile XDA and SDA or similar.

I also have a Nokia N95 and the comparison with that is pretty stark. The N95 is a phone and the M700 isn't, it's something else. The problem really is that it is a Windows Mobile device with no keyboard. Using the stylus to operate it means you have to use two hands, this is retrograde step.
That said, it's not my main phone, and I like having it as a PDA and have installed some PDA type software on it.

Biggest issue I have as a user is that every so often this model locks up and you have to reboot, this can be a pain when it happens in middle of texting or using the sat nav. The camera in the phone is of a really high quality and I have some fabulous shots of sporting events thanks to the shot feature on the phone.

The Orange SPV M700 is the first real phone available with GPS and 3G in the same small compact unit.
Still going well 18 months later with no glitches.
Superbly featured phone, I think the only thing it is missing is a full size pop out keyboard.
Running Windows Mobile 5 with ease and installed several games and programs including TomTom6 working away!
