I found the phone excellent to use, and thought it was very easily accessable. I love this phone, and it has never broken down on me. One of the best features in my opinion is that when you turn on the phone on it gives you the option of turning the full phone on, or just listening to the music stored on the phone. This is great if you are on a plane. It is an extremely reliable, trustworthy and all around good phone.

On first look, appears to be a re-numbered W800i, it looks the same and even has the same layout. However, it is a really practical phone, it has proper sized buttons as opposed to some of the more fashionable models and the flash function on the camera makes it more versatile in all sorts of occasions.

The Sony Ericsson W700i is a decent enough bar style phone. It's gold finish may not be to everyone's taste, but it is smart enough. The feature set on this phone is fairly basic. It has WAP capability, bluetooth and a reasonable camera. The screen is a little blurry by today's hi-res standards.
It has a few things going for it though, it has outstanding battery life, easily the best of any phone I have owned, it is solidly built (withstanding many drops), it has a user-friendly software suite and USB cable for copying songs across (the audio is amazing with this phone's hands-free kit) and has never suffered a software failure, random call cut offs or any kind of issue.
To conclude, it is a good budget buy with decent features and outstanding build quality.

Have tried many different types of mobile handsets, and have found this one to be easy to use, and easy to read texts etc when in all manner of lighting. I have never encountered any problems with any of the technicalities, and feel I could easily recommend this particular mobile, and Sony Ericsson in general.

This is the second W700i I have had and it is by far my favourite phone, the buttons are easy to use and the menu is easy to navigate, you can get plenty of music on there and the playback quality is very good. I would look for a different phone next time but would also consider having another W700i.
