BlackBerry Torch 9800 User Reviews

This is the worst phone I have every owned. I purchased this phone because of its reviews. I am sure the reviews were true and I have to admit the phone has a great look. That is about the only thing it has going for it. About a month after I got the phone, the battery overheated badly. To the point you could not touch it. I contacted BlackBerry, and they sent me a new battery. The next thing I was told was it may have damaged the phone. I got the new battery, and the phone has not worked right since. It continues to freeze and shut off.

My carrier stated it is under warranty, but this is a software problem not a hardware problem and I needed to restore the phone. After 5 months of freezing and 6 restores the phone is still not working. The only thing left to do is buy another phone and spread my story to prevent this from happening to another person. I am sure the phone itself is a good phone, it's just my phone is bad and BlackBerry does not want to honor their warranty. Good luck and make a wise purchase.

I bought this phone because it doesn't really look like a blackberry. I love the design and love that you can get a range of different colour covers for it. I really like the blackberry messenger and the down loadable apps. The camera is brilliant and I love how it gives you the option to upload them straight to facebook. I love the qwerty keyboard but for those who don't like them it also has a touch screen to text. Sometimes it does freeze but for no longer than 10-20 seconds and it does take a long time to turn on but apart from that it's a really good phone. I would recommend this to anyone interested in buying a blackberry.

This is a very good phone. It has all the features and qualities that a smart phone would need. It does have a few problems with the battery life - as does all smart phones. I use it for personal use, mainly for keeping in touch with my friends and family. It's great that I can get my emails on the go also because I like to keep in touch with updates. Also the app world it fab because it has every kind of app that you can think of.

This phone is definitely worth getting because it just does everything that you need - I will definitely keeping this for the whole of my 24 month contract and definitely enquiring about a new torch when my contract is up. I wouldn't even dream of switching to a different make let alone a different model.

I have just changed my phone form the iphone 3g to the blackberry torch, the torch is a good phone if you are a pc user due to the set up off the phone being for a pc, but if your a mac user like myself you will have problems with getting it set up and downloading apps for it through your computer. The phone its self is easy to use, it has a good camera on it and the video is very good, i would say that the phone is very good if your a blackberry user and are going to update to this phone but if your looking for a change i would give this one a miss!

I was a little scared when getting my blackberry as i had never owned one before but it was the best move ive made as regards to getting a mobile phone. i love it. its quick and easy to learn to use very helpful with its setup features. im very happy that it already has social networking sites built into it and youtube as well. the browser is much quicker than the phone i had previously. i will never have a nokia phone again and i think i will have a blackberry next time. i spend most off the time using the apps or the internet on my phone and checking my emails.
