Great phone, easy to use straight out of the box. Menu is simple and straightforward and the apps available run smoothly. I use mine every day as a substitute to a PC for Internet surfing and social networking, Speed is as good as I have had before from a laptop. Very easy to install clever apps to change the look and feel of the phone, though there can be an issue with internal memory, may find you never to lose one app to gain another. Camera is pretty good, I use mine a lot for work and the pictures come out really well and are easy to upload to either a PC or social network site. Overall I have been very impressed with my Desire, and I will be staying with HTC when I upgrade next year.

The phone is really great. Its small and fits in your pocket easy. It is terrible on battery life and I am forever having to charge it. The android market is absolutely brilliant and allot better than itunes with lots more free apps. I think all phones should be able to use all the updates though to like honeycomb etc. The Android OS is excellent and easy to use. This really is a phone to consider and I'm sure you'll be delighted with your choice if you get one. I have to say this is the best phone I have ever had. It does everything I could ask for, Internet is super fast, the screen is beautiful, a large amount of apps to choose from and the touch screen is nice and reactive.

I have always used Nokia phones, and was doubtful about changing. I was so wrong I love, love, love my phone. It came to Glastonbury with me this year and as I didn't use the Internet the battery lasted all weekend, despite texting and calling. Generally I use my phone for calling, texting and Internet. I am starting to use apps too now. The google sky app is fantastic, just switch it on and point it at the sky and it tells you what you're looking at. I have found other really useful apps for all sorts of thing - vouchers, recipes, magazines. I love how easy my phone is to use. I only had to spend about 10mins getting to grips with it. I've dropped this phone allot and I'm not very careful with it but its not scratched of scuffed at all. It must be quite durable to last in my hands!

I have had the HTC Desire for over a year and it has been the best phone I have owned to date. Newer versions have come out and I haven't felt the need to upgrade. The only two downsides are the fact it won't get an upgrade above Android 2.2 and the battery life isn't great. But it can easily last a couple of days and as it is effectively a small computer if you compare it to net books and laptops which only last 5-10 hours, I reckon 2 days isn't bad! The screen is very accurate and responsive and I've been impressed by the Android operating system and marketplace.

Works well, had no problems! Thoroughly recommended and much better and less problematical than the iPhone. Good image and video functions, definitely an improvement on earlier HTC and XDA handsets. No stuttering which is great, the applications which are windows based also work fine. Not 100% convinced by the interface for texts, why do all mobile phones in this day and age all save things as a whole conversion when there will just be occasional texts within a long conversation that I would ultimately want to keep? Perhaps I am being picky though, as my opinion of the HTC desire is that it is overall a great little handset / mobile phone which I highly recommend.
