This is the worst phone I have ever had. Had to be sent back for repair twice, very non user friendly. It lost all my contacts, changed the settings for no apparent reason, has an unreadable small font on web pages, drops far too many calls (in fact for 6 months it dropped all calls after about 2 minutes). Over the last few months the touch screen has lost its sensitivity and I have been poking it with the blunt end of a pencil to get any response. Altogether dreadful. I understand from shops I have taken it in to that I am not alone in my feelings. Exchanging it today - a day I've been waiting for for 18 months.

The phone looks great and is an easy design to use. However, it is prone to rebooting and freezing. Occasionally it doesn't charge for a few hours and then reboots itself without being prompted. It is advertised as a HD phone (which may be the cause of rebooting) however I don't find that the quality of the camera or images lives up to this fact. I use my phone generally for social use. Texting and making phone calls mainly. I used to use it an awful lot for the Internet however I received a text message telling me save new settings and now the Internet will not connect. However I have found that this is a problem that occurs with many Sony Ericsson phones and is due to the user not updating the software regularly. My lifestyle does not permit me to spend time doing this and therefore it may have been a mistake in purchasing a phone which requires such attention.

This phone has an excellent camera and video accept at night time when the image is rather blurry. I unfortunately have never been able to use the apps on this phone so I am therefore unable to comment as it has never worked. I use my phone on a daily basis for texting, calling and Internet mainly for Facebook. I have found the Internet rather slow and have had other problems such as the handset freezing and also problems with charging the phone, have had to send it off to get repaired. Overall I would say that this phone looks good but it does not work as it should.

Possibly one of the worst sporadic decisions I've made was to get this phone, I find it hard to say anything positive about it, slow, unresponsive, slow to send texts and even hard to hear people speaking to you whilst using it as a phone. The Screen jumps around whilst on auto rotate, usually to the way that you are not looking, trying to send text messages is almost impossible unless you use the stylus that the Sony Ericsson Vivaz comes with, only trouble is there is no where to keep it with the phone. How the designers of this phone let it out onto the market is beyond me.

My phone is best in design and performance. It has good battery life, awesome features with new technology. Good camera clarity with HD video but external sound is very low. Very sleek and easy to use. Loads of new features than any of the Sony Ericsson's mobile of its range.
The world's first HD technology with 8.1 mega pixel camera having led flash. Touch screen sensitivity is not very good though. We're glad to see a 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB port, given Sony Ericsson's previous love for its proprietary Fast Port connector instead of a basic headphone socket. Given the HD recording function of the handset, Sony Ericsson has also seen fit to include an 8GB micro SD card - we would have preferred some inbuilt storage too, but at least this is a generous addition.
