When it comes to mobile phones, if it works, can make a call and receive texts - then it's a Mobile Phone!

The first thing that strikes you about the Alcatel OT-S319 is the curviness of the design and the metallic-like pink colour - it is a very feminine mobile. The only thing regarding the design I wouldn't agree with is the 3 "soft keys" that are fully exposed, and a little too touch sensitive.

With the "flip" feature in operation, the Alcatel OT - S319 is 9-10 inches tall.

I have owned the phone for 3 months after I bought it for £9, from the Orange shop. It arrived via courier "next day" delivery.

Well, three months later I can say it's been a reliable little mobile. It has excellent battery life. (Maybe because it has limited internet features which means I am not using it as much as I would an N95 or iPhone).

If you charge it appropriately, (off and overnight to allow the optimisation of the Alcatel's battery to empty then charge fully) it takes 14 hours to charge 100% and that will last you around 4 - 5 days - maybe more sometimes!

The screen is nice and clear, and large, meaning its brilliant for poor sighted people to use, and maybe children.

Other features include WAP, basic organizer, alarm clock (a good one!) and a substantially sized phone book, and MMS though there is not a camera on here.

Also there are nice seasonal themes on the phone which include:

Silver
Wood

You can also download images via WAP, and save them as your wallpaper.
