Great little phone - my first foray into the world of smartphones but this one has been simple to get used to. Runs a very customisable Android 2.1 OS and allows lots of quality free/ paid apps to add extra functionality.

Battery life is about 1.5 days with moderate use and a task killer application. Oddly this is quite good for a powerful smartphone.

Touchpad Keyboard take a little getting used to but you can easily download different types to make the phone more useful.

Only gripe is that 3 install a few core programs that you can't take off the phone to clean up your menus but you can push them into a folder and forget about them with ease.

Bottom line. Great phone that comes with a good set of apps out of the box and the capacity to easily expand it if needed.

Having been lumbered with a Nokia 6550 for 18 months I was wary of taking a T-Mobile upgrade. They offered me this on a free internet package and man what a phone. Loved it as soon as I'd powered it up.

The phone felt right in my hand and the Android operating system is great. So many of my peers are moving to iPhones but having been using this for 3 weeks I cannot understand why. The iPhone is restricted whereas this is well supported by many 3rd parties.

Battery life is ok although if you run the GPS for any time (I have a RAC Traffic application) the battery life vaporates.

The only word of caution is be careful with what apps you download, some are very poor.
