It's a nice looking little phone with a bright display. I bought it because it was so cheap and I needed a new phone. I regretted this purchase within an hour of use. I found the touch screen unresponsive and the text input almost unusable without the stylus. The LED touch pad worked the 1st time I used it but that was it, now it refuses to work. I will be taking this back and not getting another. The reason why it is so cheap is that it doesn't really work. I can't speak of other Alcatel phones but I would never buy one again. Maybe I just got a rare dodgy one? I would advise you not to buy this model.

Bad points: the camera is really poor and same with the video. Apart from that, it is all good. The touch screen is very responsive, and the texting is surprisingly easy to use. It has simple day to day things like a calendar and a calculator, and even comes with a game. The internet is not the fastest, but it does the job. However, it can be difficult to see all the text, as the screen is less than 3 inches. I would recommend this phone to anyone, especially to young children who want a cheap touch screen phone. Overall a fantastic phone!

Had for a few days now. Lovely colour in acid green and nice interface. Wasn't expecting an iPhone alternative but this came close and at the price - £45 including £20 top-up and 6 months unlimited internet - it's great value.
You can download .jar JAVA apps for it as well, like MS Office Word mobile and Opera Mini Web Browser. The camera is pretty decent - producing A4 images without loss and the touchscreen is quick and responsive.
The noises however are quite annoying - the switch-on tone makes me go red with embarrassment and I can't find a ringtone I wouldn't mind my friends hearing.
All in all though I think it's a great borderline smartphone considering the price.

I bought this phone off Carphone Warehouse for £30 plus a £20 Virgin Top-Up - I only really got it cause it was green!
First impressions were great, it's a dinky little phone which sits really well in my hand.
Screen is bright and its also surprisingly loud for such a little phone. Obviously for such a low price its not going to have lots of features - the music player is pretty basic and the camera is shocking - the plug-in camera on my SE T300 was about as good.
It has a nice feature that it will display pictures I took on my 5 megapixel LG KC550, though, as most phones will just display these as blanks.
The touchscreen is pretty good - obviously nowhere near iPhone standards but it's just as responsive as the LG Cookie or other similar phones. The screen is pretty small though which is forgiveable given the size of the device, though it makes texting tricky at times, especially when using thumbs not stylus. There's only one method of input too - the alphanumeric keypad.
As far as features go it has the aforementioned 1.3mp camera (useless) an ok music player, an ebook reader, mobile internet (though its only good for the occasional facebook update) calendar, weather app, Simon Says game, bluetooth, and a built in stylus. It makes calls too and sends texts.
I really like this phone, unfortunately after about a month the flashy blue lights that replace hard buttons stopped working and I had to take it back to Carphone Warehouse and get it repaired. It's working fine now though.
A recommended buy for teens and budget-conscious gadget lovers. Not for photographers or people with massively oversized hands.

I got this phone for Christmas this year. I had been after an iphone for a while but couldn't really justify the price. This is an excellent little touch screen phone, the screen is very responsive and easily used without the stylus provided.
Granted it doesn't have anywhere near the features of the higher end touch screen phones but considering the price is generally under £50 it is great value for money. It's got a 1.3mp camera and is capable of taking videos. Overall I would definitely recommend this phone.
